Getting There
It's really starting to look like a motorcycle now. Funny how just installing the bungs and gas caps will do that. The caps and bungs I extracted from some beat up triumph oil tanks. I just need to finish welding the tanks, add some fittings, finish mounting the battery box, and finish welding the foot controls. The last major item is making the clutch pedal and the mechanism to operate the clutch cable, which is going to take some machining. The set up I have in mind you can go from foot shift to hand shift with just two bolts and re-route the cable. We'll see how it goes...

Back To Some Suzuki Progress
I ended up making a new battery box because the old one just wasn't working out well. The new one is slimmer and flows with the fender. The brake and shift linkage is hooked up so now I need to start thinking about the foot clutch option. The coils are boxed in and the tanks fit fairly well. Theres a breather cover on the top of the engine that I need to make clearance for and then I can weld the tanks up. The caps and bungs are ready too. Rumor has I'll also have my seat back tomorrow.

Finished!
So The Requiem Ride animation for my senior project is complete! It's been a long year and half of work. Not only that, the idea of this animation has only been rolling around in my head close to six years. It's kind of strange seeing it on a screen and not have to picture it just in my mind anymore. The first screening will be held in New York City this Thursday!
It will be some time before it will be released online. In the meantime I'll be working on creating DVDs and some cool freebies. Keep checking www.the-requiemride.com for further updates.

Late Old Foto Friday
Yes it's Saturday, so what. Things have been insanely busy trying to get my animation wrapped up. Extremely long hours in front of the computer and not much sleep. Some of this below will certainly be in order once I'm done with the animation.

Life's Been Busy
Lot's going on but not much to post. The Requiem Ride animation has pretty much taken over my life. It's near completion but there's still a long road ahead.
