We made a little more headway this weekend on the Strange Days Sportster. The oil tank now has all the bungs it needs a long with a side fill we made. Everything fits great except the rear fender hit the back of the oil tank.
We can't have that so I broke out the grinder. I enjoy utilizing as much stock stuff as possible and coming up with simple solutions....
There you have it! Just the right amount of clearance and it looks factory. Stay tuned for more!
My dad and his father (though who wasn't a biker) on Billy's 750 Honda in a wishbone frame. Pretty wild. Still have the helmet, and still have the sidecar.
My ol'man's '69 sportster in 1970. The bike was just a year old and look what was all done to it. Look at that wild paint job! The shed in the back where the bike was kept use to be a pigeon coup.
