Last Call!

Ok, for all you slackers tomorrow is the last day for submissions for your bike to be in The Requiem Ride. The winner will be announced next week.

Did a quick mockup of my ol'man's knucklehead he had way back when. Wish I had the time to get into the color on these things but good things come to those who wait.

And just for fun...

Some 3D Renders

This is also posted on The Requiem Ride blog, but figured I'd post this here too.

Just finished some 3d modeling of my knucklehead chopper for The Requiem Ride. One lucky winner will have their bike modeled like this one here and put in the animation. Ive been getting some great submissions. Keep them coming!

The textures (color) will come later when I'm creating them for everything else in the animation.

I know theres obvious nuts, bolts, lines, and linkage missing but once its animated with moving backgrounds etc, you're never going to see it. As of now the models are simple with just the right details.

Some 3D stuff: Wall of Death

I made this in 2009, in Maya, a 3D modeling and animating program. I Modeled it directly from the California Hell Rider's Wall of Death. I Met the crew at the Rhinebeck Swapmeet. Super cool people, they allowed me to go inside the wall for reference photos. At the following Rhinebeck meet in 2010 I gave them prints of the final renders. They were pretty stoked about it.

Some new 3D work

Straight Leg Harley frame. Modeled in Maya, no measurements what so ever. Its all done by eye using imported blue prints. Overall there is about 8 hours of work in this.

Few more renders

These are older models I made a long time ago in a different program. Thats why they look different compared to the other models.

Captain America

Just finished this 3rd or maybe even now 4th version of my 3D model of the Captain America bike. I first made this model in highschool and looking back on it, man did it look like crap. Over the years my modeling, texturing, and rendering skills have improved and the model has slowly been massaged into what you see today. The model still isn't perfect, there are more things that need to be added.
