Grindhouse: Planet Terror and Then Came Bronson

Ok, so this might be off topic but hear me out. I just watched Tarantino's Planet Terror again. Death Proof is one of my favorite films mostly because of all the older car film references within it. I never paid too much attention to Planet Terror but it was on the tube recently so I watched it again. Say what you want about Tarantino's films, but I like them. And here's one of the reasons why...

If you are a Tarantino film buff you know within his world he likes to use the same actors. Michael Parks for instance, the sheriff who appears in a number of his films. Tarantino paid a quick tribute to Parks' past in Planet Terror. About 40 minutes into the film, Parks is home feeding his zombie wife. His radio goes off and he sets down a bowl on the end table. There on the table is a photo of Jim Bronson packed up on his Sportster and a girl on the back. The photo looks sort of photo-shopped and the bike doesn't exactly look like a Sportster other than the eye decal, but it still makes the point.
This shot is barely a second long. For those who know no explanation is necessary. For those who don't, they may not have even caught this shot or understand why it was there. Very clever Quentin...

More Side Car Progress

Here's the idea we have for the rear fender. Simple, race like, and looks pretty mean. The stock taillight will be tucked up inside the fender in the back. I'll try and find some Ford touch up paint for the fender to match the rest of the bike.

We also got the hack mounted too. We'll be rolling down the road again soon!
