via Instagram http://ift.tt/1L3clrfTomorrow we're about to embark on a 1500 mile round trip to pay homage to my dad's cousin, Chris Kusto, late owner and entrepreneur of Antique Cycle Supply, in Cedar Springs, MI. Chris had quite a collection of interesting antique motorcycles. One in particular had wings and powered by a 1928 Harley Davidson JD engine. After Chris' untimely death, my dad lost touch with the family, Chris' collection was sold off and the plane was gone. Fast forward a few years ago we find out the plane now resides at The Wheels Through Time Museum. My dad will get to see the plane, aka "The Katy Bug", once again after 25 years. @wheelsthroughtime #wheelsthroughtime #thekatybug #1927millerlightplane #ChrisKusto

via Instagram http://ift.tt/1QCbMZQEvery once in a while I can work on my own stuff... unfuckifying the rear wiring harness and maybe get some taillights to work... The whole harness almost went up in smoke due to the brake lights wired straight to ground. #alwaysgothroughanewvehiclewithafinetoothcomb lesson learned, check everything! I had to buy a trailer taillight converter wire in to get the brake lights to work.
